The Mezcal Margarita
-1.5oz Sin Papeles Mezcal
-1oz Fresh Lime Juice
-.5oz Cointreau
-.5tsp agave syrup
-Optional: Salt or “Sal de Gusano” for the rim
Instructions:
Salt the rim of your favorite margarita glass. In a shaker, combine ice, Sin Papeles mezcal, lime juice, Cointreau and agave syrup. Shake, then strain into your salted margarita glass. ENJOY!
Notes:
-Because of the high proof nature of Sin Papeles, I recommend using only 1.5 oz of mezcal; whereas I would use 2 oz of any other lower proof mezcal.
-Add jalapeño slices to the shaker and garnish for a kick!
